We visited J. Dolans visiting family. Everything we had tasted delicious. We ordered a single cheese pizza for our youngest daughter. It was like a NY style pizza, a good size for our 8 year old. She devoured it all and was stuff, for a picky eater, she loved it. We also ordered a whole pepperoni pie for my nieces and eldest daughter, they finished it all as well. We also ordered a basket of fries which were perfectly fried, it was so good and crispy. Us adults ordered the Jersey White Pie and added Italian sausage with pepperoni and it was soooo good. It wasn't super saucey, it was perfect and of course we ate that all up. Definitely would come back here again. Also, our server was great!

Friendly waiter and gave suggestions on half and half between two pizzas. 1/2 of the pizza was guacamo and other 1/2 garlic spinach. More open air, cooler, and not to loud atmosphere.

Love the selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Servers are so friendly. You can order pizza with half of any of their pizza selections. Very few places have jalapeño's peppers so we love to order them whenever we visit. We tried the fish and chips and the first batch was a little tough. We weren't going to say anything but our server overheard our comments and stepped in to give us replacements. We also saw her take the tough pieces to discuss them with the kitchen and took the cost of the fish off our bill! French fries are awesome. You don't have to rush to eat them; they stay crispy from the first fry to the last. For sports fans you can sit at any table and see a TV screen.

Everything was great. We got there at about 11:30, and got to seat ourselves. I love that! We were greeted immediately upon entering, and after we chose a booth, the server came up and got us water. We asked if she had suggestions and she shared what her favorites were. That's always a plus for me. Anyone who works in the restaurant should be able to speak to their food. We ordered the special, which was a carnitas pizza with pico de gallo, a pepperoni pie, The Molto Formaggio, and The Scampi Pie. Yes, 4 pies for 2 of us. It's okay. I don't mind leftovers. I didn't realize how big the pies were. All were delicious with a nice crust. My favorite was the Molto Formaggio. I did really enjoy the special as well. Hubby loved the pepperoni and also The Scampi. It's was a little dark, but that might've been because we came from the bright, midday sun. It was an older crowd, which surprised me. I feel. like we were on the younger side...and we're new empty nesters with college-age kids. It was a great experience, and we'll definitely be eating there again.

We've been dying to try the new j. Dolan's since it opened in Kahala, and were not disappointed last night by the big, clean bar/restaurant space, outdoor seating, but homie, Irish pub feel. It's much larger than the downtown spot, and we were seated immediately at the bar. Our garlic and spinach pie came out piping hot (burnt the roof of our mouths hot), and the wings and signature bleu cheese were fantastic. The bar and restaurant were full for a Friday night, but my honey and I were still able to hold a conversation and didn't feel too cramped in our corner. There are a couple of large TVs that we're playing the wahine volleyball game last night as well, so it may be a good spot to catch UH football with friends (I'd call to verify they have the pay per view!).

The atmosphere is clean and open. I took my pizza to go. They told me 20 minutes it only took like 10. We didn't go in and eat we took it to go and sat outside at the tables. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza was yummy yum yum! I would come back even if it is 1 1-2 more than Costco pizza lol. The crust was near non which is nice and the pie was thin and the pepperoni was crisp. Alittle greasy but that is on all good pizza it was good eats.

Good place for family and friends. Perfect lighting, welcoming atmosphere, nice bar and seating area, and free parking. The food was fire! In a good way, of course. Ordered the Margherita & Spinach Garlic Pizza, and we really enjoyed both. I love almost anything garlic, so the latter was def my fave. Absolutely loved the Calamari! Our Server, Aurora was fantastic and on it when I our drinks were running low. Most definitely returning.

Food is super good , love their pizza here. Fish and chips was awesome too. Great service too , very very clean inside as well. Will come by here again next time for our celebration

From downtown to this newish Kahala location, J Dolans has well priced drinks, apps and tasty pizza! The inside is giving Irish pub and the menu of black and tans, harp and Guinness on the menu go with the theme. There are tvs to catch a game on the inside and a large patio area on the outside! They have great food and drink options. I really liked the meat pizza and the spinach garlic one (although the amount of garlic made it real dank). Service was great thanks to the very patient server who dealt with our large group.
